Chris Davis and Sandra Waters have had a passion for travelling for many years. This coupled with their interest in writing and photography and their love of the bush the pair decided to establish Mountain Shack Publications in 2008. Their aim is to produce accurate and up to date guide books for Australian travellers like themselves who have a love and passion for the Australian bush.
To date Chris and Sandra have a couple of guides out with more on the way. All of their guides are field checked as much as possible to ensure that they are accurate and up to date. In between work committments they travel extensively on writing assignments and even submit the odd magazine article to various travel magazines when time permits.
When not travelling Chris and Sandra reside high up on the central tablelands of New South Wales. They share their mountain hideaway with a myriad of wildlife including kangaroos, wallabies, wombats, echidnas and the odd wedge tailed eagle.
